FAWN: 3 month old baby girl. She is going to need a home with a super social, friendly, nurturing, outgoing and yet gentle feline buddy. Fawn is a special kitten that is going to need a person who has the experience and the time to help her come out of her shell. Normally I would say she is not ready for adoption, but I would rather have her bond to her new and forever person then with me, her foster person.

She has made great progress in only a few days with me, going from growling and hissing to picking her up, getting her to sit in my lap, eat from my hand and to trust me more each time. She will even purr while sitting in my lap and turns her head into my hand while I rub around her ears. I can even give her gentle kisses on her nose and she does not mind it.
Fawn is cautious of sudden moves and noises, which is normal for her right now. It is funny, because at times when she hisses at me when I approach, I will pick her up and love on her and she immediately stops hissing and enjoys being petted.
I would like to see her feel more comfortable with kitten play and not to be timid about it. However, she has only been in my care for a few days and already she has warmed up to being loved. It is going to take time with her until she knows and trust her new person. If you have the experience and the roam free area where she can learn to adjust and trust you, then she can be your forever cat. I love it when I hold her in my lap and she begins to purr, but again this should be with her forever person and not me.
I would suggest a more quieter home, no young children. In the beginning she is going to need a place where she can not run and hide, but be gently exposed to the love of a home and human touch. This would not be a closed off laundry room or garage. She will always be an indoor kitten. Fawn will not be going to Petco to adoption events, but will be adopted directly from her foster home.
