Great Cats for Great Homes

  Sophie is an 11 year old spayed tortie. She is healthy, and recently had her shots and check-up. Her vet clinic is Orchard View Veterinary Clinic in Salem.  She's always been an indoor/outdoor cat but since moving into an apartment she has adjusted pretty well to being a totally indoor cat,  She would be much happier .being able to go in and outdoors as she pleases.  She has always spent a fair bit of time outside, and would love to be allowed to do that again. She loves to sit in the sun and doesn't roam far.

She is such a sweet cat, very talkative and easy to care for. She also has the softest, densest, silkiest fur coat I have ever felt on any cat. She feels more like mink than cat.  She's had dogs of her own, although they've been small. She loves to have lap time, but does not love being picked up. She's not crazy about the high energy of children, and will hide until they go away. Like most cats, she's liable to be skittish at first, but soon comes around to find the lap and scratches that she knows she deserves. We are moving overseas. If we could take her with us, we would.
