  Bio:  This is "Rambo", a beautiful (inside and out), sweet, wonderful purebred Lynx-point Himalayan. Rambo is 7 years old, and is seeking a loving soul who will be his companion for many years to come. 

Rambo is an absolute love, though because he has lived as a single family, no small kids, no other animals kind of kitty - he can take a short while to recognize that you are there to help, not harm. Once he knows you, he prefers to be in your company a lot - but is fine with giving you space too. He is not a "lap cat", but he loves to be patted, talked to, brushed, and shows his affection in return by rubbing against you, talking to you regularly and "staying close" while you go about your life. He has a playful side if you haul out the cat toys - and he is a fun guy.

Rambo is a victim of a divorce situation, in which his former owner no longer wanted to care for him, and his current owner (me, the "ex") has him but cannot keep him. His shots are current, and he is neutered and generally in very good health - with one exception - he has a condition that keeps his ureathra irritated, which in turn causes him to involuntarily dribble pee at times - not a lot (maybe an ounce per episode). Vets tell me that it is a fairly common condition for male Himalayans, and not life-threatening. I have had multiple vets try multiple things and evidently the only solution to his "leak problem" is a surgery that costs more than $2,500. Frankly, I cannot afford that, and unfortunately I have a home that cannot accommodate the leaks, either. I also live alone and am trying to rebuild my life, so we are just not a good fit for each other.

Rambo has a long life ahead of him, and he is an absolute Sugar, but he needs someone with more tolerance and creativity to give him an environment in which all his awesome qualities override the one downside. Rambo and I are hoping that you might be that special person to help. You would be getting a beautiful, amazing and loving partner.
