Mere months ago, Sassafras was literally at death’s door—but you’d never know that now. The
combination of modern medicine and lots of TLC have given her a new lease on life, and oh boy
is she enjoying it! From head to tail, she’s been given a clean bill of health from her vet, and at 2
years old can look forward to a long and fun life.
Sassy is one happy, active cat. She loves to play, check out the happenings outside the windows,
explore cozy spaces, snuggle with her human at night, curl up on a lap, stretch out her long sleek
body, practice her stalking skills, and just be her fabulous self. She is even cooperative when it’s
time for her claws to be clipped- a rarity among cats! She purrs like a champ too.
Although we’re unsure if she has lived with other cats or dogs, we believe she would benefit
from the company of another friendly kitty or gentle pup. As always, though, any introductions
should be made carefully. Sassy currently resides in Beaverton with her caregiver.  Her rehoming fee is $150.
