Tigger is a handsome, sweet, active, 1.5 year old, short haired, tabby and white cat who adores other cats, especially male cats. He loves to cuddle, groom and play with his cat buddies. He likes to play rough and chase his feline friends. He gets along well with his foster mom’s large, cat friendly dog. He has a sweet meow and will coo at his cat buddy when he wants to play or cuddle. Tigger will follow his foster mom’s cat around and follow his foster mom upstairs to explore the walk-in shower. He loves to play with toys and run back and forth through crinkle tunnels. He likes to play with his foster mom when she uses the cat chaser wand or laser pointer. He likes to be petted when he is cuddling with his buddies or lying on a cat bed or chair. He will come to you if you have a fun toy or yummy food, but does not approach his foster mom or dad for affection. He is adjusting to being picked up and slowly coming around to sitting on the couch with his foster mom as long as his cat buddy is with him. His foster mom just trimmed his front claws with very little fuss. Tigger needs a home where he can bond with another feline that is very social and loving and playful with cats. He would prefer a male buddy, but if you have a large, female cat that loves to rough and tumble, but also likes to cuddle then Tigger would be happy. A cat friendly, calm dog is also fine. Tigger would not do well in a loud home with young children. Tigger needs a patient owner that is willing to continue working with him so he can reach his potential of becoming a lap cat and approaching his owners for affection. Tigger must be an indoor only cat. Tigger is very shy around new people and it will take time for him to adjust to his new home, but his new feline buddy will help speed up that process and help him become more social. Tigger had a rough start as a kitten, being rescued from a colony of dumped cats and kittens and moving from foster home to foster home without being fully socialized. He has been in his current foster home since July and has become very comfortable in his foster home and with his four-legged friends in the home. Tigger has great kitty litter habits and is not picky about the type of litter used. He will need a covered litter pan or one with tall sides and back, since he is large and sometimes pees against the back of the litter pan. Tigger is neutered, chipped, flea and worm free and is up to date on his FVRCP vaccine. Since he is an indoor only cat, he has not had his latest Rabies booster, but can easily get one if his new home wants him vaccinated for Rabies. Tigger’s adoption fee is $100.
