I rescued Dwight from a relative whose household was falling apart. Had I not done this, he wouldn't have had anyone to take care of him. I'd love to keep Dwight, but I already have 2 cats, the limit for where I live.
Dwight is about 4 years old with lots of love to give. He is a Red Maine Coon, long hair, very fluffy type breed. He is healthy, friendly, playful and affectionate with a wonderful roaring purr. While he is beautiful from head to toe, my favorite features are his pink nose and fluffy tail. He loves to play laser treat tag, where I lead him all around with the laser then reward him with a treat when he “catches” the dot. Cats are all about treats, and this one is no exception!
Dwight would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention and affection. In his former home, he lived with a child who loved him. He is in great health, and ready to settle into a loving home. He will be happy to lie on the bed or couch with you and will sometimes go partway onto your lap. With time and trust that will probably evolve into full on lap sitting. Regarding dogs, I don’t think he has ever seen any.
Dwight has never been outside. He is "INDOORS ONLY". He uses his litter box faithfully. Although he has no apparent health problems, he should have a basic check up. Rehoming fee is $100 and he is indoor only. He lives in Salem with his foster family.
